Mill Hill's Autumn 2025 Bead Kits arrive this week!
We haven't even enjoyed summer yet, but Mill Hill always releases seasons-in-the-opposite, so you have TIME to work on them before you're ready for them.

- African Daisies joins quite a few single floral close-ups they have... always bold and bright in color.
- Haunted Lighthouse features a dramatic wave crashing against the lighthouse, a stormy sky, and I think a pirate ship (!) in the high seas! They've added glow-in-the-dark beads to this one!
- Windmill is part of the Country Lane series - all farmhouse and tiny country scenes is that set of designs.
- Fall Foxes features a detailed pair of furry foxes amidst a busy landscape.

Recent Releases from Satsuma Street
We've been enjoying these in the shop since late last Fall.
- Monster House - Super colorful and just delightfully scary, every room in this haunted house features a different occupant. Someone down in the parlour is headless, there are ghosts dancing in the ballroom, a howling wolf is waiting in one of the bedrooms, the resident witch is brewing dinner, there are cats and bats and spiders, Dracula hanging upside down in the attic, and even a mummy up in the tower. So full of bright DMC color, the stitch count is 131 x 217, so it finishes a generous 8 x 13-1/2 on 32ct! Definitely cute to hang for the Halloween Season - and break away from just orange and blacks. Full color leaflet $17.00
- Holiday Glow - Grab some red fabric - in any count you can see - these sweet holiday birds measure just 107 x 68 - so they finish a mere 5 x 7-1/2 on 14ct. Full color chart in the leaflet for $12.00, coded for DMC. $12.00

Cats and Dogs of the Months by Romy's Creations
What a fun little collection of cats and dogs! Pin Cushion-sized pieces, she has her kitties and pups each doing the same things in a given month. In March, they are both in the shamrocks, April they are both wearing bunny ears. Each design measures 58 stitches, and they are coded for DMC floss.
You can choose to get only the CATS or DOGS, or both... I'm thinking that basket of 24 little cats and dogs would be darling! The rest of the months come out later this year... no timing info, so we're starting auto-ships! |

Was it the Hare? - The burning question! New from Val's Stuff, "Spring is here and my garden is bare... was it the deer or the hare?" It's the perfect time of year for this funny little piece.

Presenting The Farmer's Market ABCs
from Little House Needleworks
Just in time for planting season... Diane has done another of her long and skinny alphabets - a companion to her 4-Seasons of these. Farmer's Market just makes you want to grow and pick, shop and sell it all and eat it!
Corn, cherries, carrots and jam. Lettuce, the market stands, peaches and pumpkins. Strawberries and watermelons... I think the little wagon might have puppies in it!
She's done a great job with it... it measures 39 x 311, and is stitched with DMC and her Classic Colorworks hand-dyed flosses. On 32ct Country Vintage Mocha Linen (we have that in Aida and multiple other counts) it'll finish a little larger than just 2 x 19! Super perfect to hang on a super skinny wall somewhere. - Holiday Banners - 4th of July and Easter - Joining their Halloween Holiday Banner design, we get Spring's Easter, and then Summer's 4th. The farmhouses are beautiful just by themselves - Zillow would have a field day! Each has the coolest trees with gorgeous geometrics in them. July's are plaid - and that pattern is hard to design and chart! Next, are the fantastic graphics in the sky. Easter's is absolutely gorgeous, and I kind of hate that it's partially hidden by the paper banner! It's a rainbow plaid that is so cool. Then, you stitch the letter banner pieces on perf paper, cut them out, and hang 'em across the sky. Each season is its own leaflet, heavy card stock, colored charts, DMC coding. These finish about 8 x 10 on 32ct.

Both model pics on the book cover are partially obstructed, so you have to use a little imagination, but you can see a big heart outline decorated with a few flowers on one side. There is a alphabet inside - in this scrolling font - so you can personalize it with any name you want!
Mimi and Gigi are shown on the back cover. Coded for Classic Colorworks flosses, this will finish approx 9 x 8 on 18/36ct. I could see this as a photo album or memory book cover, it's really a nice alternative to a birth announcement that really isn't so cool when they're 11 years old - and they don't want in their bedroom anymore. Skellymaid

Well, this is over-the-top cute! It is a 5-inch long Peyote Beaded scissor or Zipper fob of a skeleton mermaid. You string those arms and make the little hands, and then the bony tail, it just makes you smile!
Complete kit contains both the color chart and numeral directions to do this - just depends on which set of instructions your brain works better with. Then, a vial of two beading needles, thread, clamshell finding and all the pre-sorted beads. Should take about 5 or 6 hours do do... such a conversation piece! |

Oh my gosh, these are so cute! Willoughby Ann makes the cutest things... Hopkins is the Thread Keep - you can get 10 colors on him. Ribert is the name of the smaller frog - the set of 10 thread drops - another way to store your threads. Then comes Riberta - who is a 1-inch needle minder (actually shown in the middle in our pic).All are lightweight and made from pearlescent/tortoise shell plastic.

Lotion Bars by Taylor Nash
Stacy's daughter, Taylor has been busy creating the most lovely bars - that are actually lotion for your hands. Presented in screw-top metal tins, the packaging is safe to keep in your stitch tote. Unscrew the lid to find a 'bar' - like a soap bar - but just a touch softer. Hold it in your hand and rub it a little, replace the bar, and smooth the lotion into your hands.
Not a greasy feel at all, these are made from Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Vitamin E Oil, Essential Oil and Fragrance Oils. I hate heavy, smelly lotions, but these are really really nice! Presenting Seasons in the Garden from Jeannette Douglas - Available beginning May of 2025
Jeannette has designed a new 4-seasons set of designs - a companion set to her By The Sea. Measuring a total of 191 stitches square this is made up of the 4 seasons - each in its own corner of the design. Featuring the flora and fauna of its season, and stuffed with special stitches - the entire piece is full of hand-dyed silks in yummy colors.
Summer will release in May of 2025. Autumn in August, Winter in October and Spring in March of 2026. Hand-dyed fabric color is closest to DMC's 524, each kit will contain the chart and threads.
You supply a 36 linen - best to stick with that count so the threads will fit the fabric. Each season will include the chart and special thread pack and will run $78.00. Register now to get on the auto for that first kit to deliver this May! |

Originally published as a set of multiple kits, Jeannette is re-vamping and re-printing her fun My Stitching Album into ONE spiral-bound, organized, 126-page publication! A set of (8 or 12 - I don't remember!) different 5 x 7-ish band samplers FULL of featured specialty stitches, the original charts are long gone.
She has updated threads to DMC, but kept her original 10 colors of hand-dyed silks the same. It features full-sized, huge pics of the actual stitched samplers, huge full-page charts, huge stitch diagrams, nice-and-big-and-clear everything!
Limited in printing, we are taking orders for the books - she didn't say how many pages they are - but price is $92.00.

Pop of Luck - This is the 10th one of these! We took a pic of all of them together at Market... charming! Offered as a kit, 20ct linen, #5 Pearl Cottons, it's a breeze to stitch. Happy Groundhog Day Row - Well... we have missed this for 2025, but Ground Hog Day is already on the calendar for next year. If you have a reputation for decorating for all holidays, you'll blow everyone away if you whip out this little row for a week or so next year! He measures 162 x 37. If you do him over one on 25 Lugana, he'll be 1-1/2 x 6-1/2 and make a darling little pin cushion on your desk or window sill. If you do him over 2 on 20ct linen, he'll be 4 x 16! Coded for Weeks and DMC, but you probably have good colors in your stash already - save money because it's kind of a one-day holiday!
Penguin Stocking - This stocking joins Bent Creek's whole collection of stockings! It was actually done just for me last December - I have a new grand-daughter, and since I stitched the BC stockings for everyone in my daughter's family - I told them at Market last year that I needed a NEW stocking for this year! - The Earth Laughs and Liberty - Brenda's Spring and Summer seasons round out this short series of seasonal Quaker samplers. Joining Feels Like Fall and Peace & Goodwill, they're not too large to stitch, so if you want to put them away between the seasons, you won't feel too bad about it! - A Daily Reminder - Choose a lovely darker fabric for this to give it an aged look, the verse is one Brenda remembers from her childhood. - Stitch Pins - By Heart in Hand, these are miniature acrylic pin versions of the STITCH design from the latest 'Imprints' chart. Little 1-inch squares of acrylic, you can see in the left picture that there is a cling covering sheet of plastic over the front to protect the shiny surface. Peel it off - you get the cute design underneath. The back of the pin has a backing attachment - that pinhas a covering. So... you can attach these safely to your tote bag or where-ever! - Sweet Strawberries - Just a half-sized chart of a cute summery-time strawberry design. Hey, over the weekend my daughter bit into a big juicy strawberry and there was a caterpillar worm inside! Your background fabric can be anything... it kind of hard to tell the floss colors in this because of the strong fabric shade... so look it over, and see what your decor can handle. Measures 176 x 128 - so finishes 10 x 7 on 18/36.

- Elvis! from December Stitches
Well... probably some of you can pass this little guy up, but for some others, he's a MUST HAVE! Finished any number of ways, you get the framed version with his name in 'lights' (which would be fun in metallic!), or you can make him a little stand-up complete with his guitar! A little unusual, and a little out there, but kind of cute! Elvis stands 95 stitches high and this set is stitched on 28ct Mushroom Lugana. All three design elements are in the chart which runs $12.00.
- Gift - The next Bauble design from Wildflower Stitching - joining Hope, Peace, Love and Joy I believe... this one is done in a deep Royal Purple color. Choose whichever colors you want for any of these, it measures 71 x 71, just like all the others in the set. Full size chart runs $8.00

- Seasons Gardens - The next rectangular piece, this one is full of trees and critters of it's season. These pieces are fun to split up into drums, fobs and always pic cushions. Judy Whitman's New 2025 Releases are Really Pretty!
- A-Round Bees - Another of her cute round Country French-inspired designs, this one features bees. She's chosen an Antique White fabric background and Classic Colorwork's Queen Bee hand-dyed floss. I think the floss has enough variation to really make this soft and pretty... it really looks like there are several different colors used. Presented in her small chart format. $12.00
- French Baby Samplers - Judy has compiled and re-printed 8 of her previous Country French animals she'd done as baby samplers into this 5 x 8-1/2 booklet. Full color pics of each design, multiple fabric and finishing options, alphabet and numeral charts provided for personalization, I see ducks, a rocking horse, rabbits, teddy bear, stork, elephant, and the carriage. Booklet runs $22.00.
- With Gratitude - 'Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.'
A beautiful, classic floral with a very vintage feel, this 10 x 6 piece would be perfect hanging in a guest room or hallway. This is a half-sized leaflet that unfolds into a 11 x 16 huge chart, and it features nice close-up pics of the motifs and complete sampler. Tthe design is done on 36ct with Classic and Weeks hand-dyed flosses - DMC conversions provided. Stitch count is 186 x 108... just peaceful! $14.00
- Le Petite Lettres - Another classic JBW design... nobody can say Judy doesn't like alphabets! This one's a little looser and less organized than most of her others - all the borders and leaves in here, it's a bit more challenging to find all the letters - and that makes it fun and interesting! She's done it in two different colorways and suggests you can choose any you want - especially coordinating single hand-dyed thread color to your fabric. Maybe honey-yellow, or soft sage greens? Small chart that unfolds out into a long piece - 5-1/2 x 16 chart. Stitch count on this is 217 x 85, so it will finish a generous and approximate 12 x 5 on 36ct! $16.00
- Lucia's Sewing Smalls - Four designs are included in this tri-fold small chart. You get the scissor fob, needle and scissor cases and pin drum. I think the squatty little pin drum is my favorite - especially with the herringbone decorative stitching around the top. DMC for everything... choose pretty finishing fabric... remember you don't HAVE t finish everything in the same shapes shown... you CAN do anything else you want! Chart $14.00

- Kindness Makes Friends - Theresa says, 'Big brick house, strawberry borders, blocky alphabets and friendly quilting motifs are quintessential elements of a sampler to stand the test of time.' Measuring 144 x 234 and finishing 8 x 13 on 36ct, it's stitched with a medley of hand-dyeds and DMC. Chart runs $18.00
- Flowers That Bloom - Originally published in the Spring 2024 Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher Magazine, the verse is from a Gilbert & Sullivan song. Chart $12.00
- People Everywhere - Stitch count is 143 x 80 - a mixture of Sampler Threads and DMC, chart runs $12.00.
- Summer Sampler Fragment - Theresa likes partial areas of samplers framed. She's releasing 4 designs - seasonal in flavor - that are each 'fragments' of a whole sampler. Nothing is *really* missing, because she'd designed them that way - kind of teases your brain doesn't it? Summer Sampler measures 124 x 125 - choose a dark background fabric for the contrast; she's done all 4 of these on the same fabric, so plan accordingly. Chart $12.00.
- Spring Sampler Fragment - The next partial sampler, again 124 x 125 (all 4 will be the same size) in stitch count. Meant to look incomplete, as often old samplers are cut up or damaged over time, this one has lost half it's alphabet! Chart $12.00.
- Hope - Inspiration comes from unusual places. Theresa has had this frame and charted her verse for the center from an old sampler. She had to keep adding motifs until she ran out of room and filled the frame. She likes her tomato pin cushion and strawberry emery on here, and didn't want the colors in her Spring-flavored piece to be too 'jelly beany' or too 'beach towely!' Looks like a fun little piece! Various hand-dyeds or DMC floss, chart runs $12.00.
- Joy - Theresa did this for Gentle Art this season as a Market Exclusive. It uses some limited edition threads available now. She says she's going to release this again later this fall - but I have no idea what the floss status will be. Measures 93 x 146 - so 5 x 8 on 36ct. Chart $12.00
- Pennsylvania Christmas Birds - A third creamy bird design against a rich red fabric background - evidentally these designs are inspired by Pennsylvania-German kitchen towels. Chart $12.00

Little Christmas Sweaters (Jumpers) by Haystack Stitching
Here are two different charts each offering little mini Christmas Sweaters. Haystack calls them 'jumpers.' Worked on your choice of 18 or 14ct perf paper, or really any fabric you want, each sweater is stitched with DMC. Featuring touches of bead embellishments, Santa's belt buckle is included in that embellishment pack and the 4 tiny wire hangers come in each chart.
Each sweater measures a petite 60 x 45 - so just 3 x 2-1/2 if you use the 18ct perf paper! You might remember some of these from past Just Cross Stitch Magazine's Annual Ornament Issues. Vintage Ornament Backer Boards
from Cherry Blossoms
These are the finishing boards used on Cherry's Vintage Ornaments. Made of birch plywood, each ornament is really 3 pieces - the back (to paint with your favorite color), the round mounting board (for the cross stitch) and then the little topper embellishment (to make gold or silver - like ornament toppers.)
There are TWO different wooden ornament shapes -
Set Number ONE is more wide and squatty,
Set Number TWO is the more tapered one.
You can buy them as one single ornament (3 pcs in the package) or a pack for 3 ornaments (9 pcs in the package.) Ready to paint, distress, whatever - and decorate with your needlework!

A couple of fun pieces by Ink Circles
- Sewing Bird - Little birds, buttons, spools and trailing threads to make the vines; I think the corners kind of look like scissors! Classic Colorworks flosses on Weeks hand-dyed linen, the chart runs $14.00
- The Forest for the Trees - This is just plain pretty! I have no information except Classic hand-dyeds on 32, chart at $14. I think just taking a cut-out square area of this and making IT into a pin cushion would be stunning. Let your stitching run all the way to the edge of the cushion... this is so beautifully busy. You could do a whole set of 5 or 6 and none would be the same, but they'd match anyway!

Springtime Snippets by Little Robin is coming!
Robin of Little Robin is finishing her neat seasonal series of coverlet cushions. We've had Slightly Spooky, Merry Minis, Little Liberties and now Springtime Snippets.

Gotta Love These Two from Works by ABC
Works by ABC just HAD to do two more glorious pieces that use every floss in your box - and then some! Remember last year's 324? Little doo-dads and ding-bats that used 324 different colors of DMC?
- 324 The Sequel - Uses 324 different colors again - along with specialty stitches! Stitched on 25ct Lugana, you could do this on canvas - or linen. The 24-page book includes the charts and instructions for all 324 of these half-inch blocks! So so cool... you can't possibly get tired of stitching this - nothing is the same, and you haven't got time to get sick of a color - because you won't use it again! - Sweater Weather Springtime Florals - Grab a lip-puckering lime/kiwi green fabric for this one! Fun lavenders, blues and pinks stand up to this bright fabric. - Courier Duos Summer Blue Jays and Autumn Blackbirds - You might recognize these two a little - they are larger, extended versions of Robin's Seasonal Couriers. Basically, the entire right side of each has been available in the Couriers charts. The entire left-hand side of each design is new - so these charts present you a 151 x 121 piece - they finish about 11 x 8-1/2 on 28ct. The fobs are just the best - you don't always need the matching stitched cases, the fobs are the sparkly and showy part!
- Hooty Owl Pin Cushion and Matching Beaded Fob - Well, isn't this little wool guy cute? His kit contains all the wools, buttons etc to make him. The fob is quite a bit smaller than most of the others, it'll finish in about 2 hours! I think the black top on it is still flat Peyote just folded over to make his face!
- California Dreamin' Fob - Stunning fire-y orange and yellow colors in this - just gorgeous!
- Poppycock Fob - Same bold color impact as the California Dreamin' piece... those rich red beads against the deep black - love it!
- Anniversary Fob and Case - Fern Ridge turns 25 years old this year. Pat and Peggy did a black and white fob and case set. - Owl-A-Day Inn - This year's big haunted house scene will come home from the show with us. Worked on 32ct Haunted Linen, it measures 288 x 230 - so finishes 18 x 14 on 32ct.(Fat Quarter of fabric is fine.) Worked with Weeks and Gentle Art hand-dyed flosses along with a smattering of 8 different metallics, it features three colors of petite seed beads along with 3 bats, 2 spiders, and a little pumpkin button by Just Another Button Company. Always cute, released as a chart.
- Stars & Stripes Stacker - The next in Susan's set of stitched stand-ups, this little guy is darling. Joining her creepy pumpkins, snowman, scarecrow and holly jolly Stackers, he stands about 10 inches high. You stitch all those little panels, make the 'donut-shaped layer', then stack them using an antique wooden thread spool hidden in the center to make him stand up. The rest of the spool is hidden under his hat! Cute as can be, these look good from every direction, so really fun to display on your kitchen island, because even the back side is stitched and cute. Chart comes with the spool.
- Sirens of the Sea - A busy seaside scene... this is done on 32ct Tidal linen - a light blue hand-dyed. It measures 266 x 199 - so finishes about 17 x 12-1/2, so a fat quarter cut will do nicely. - Little French Hen Needlebook -� A small 3 x 5 oval, Hen is on one fabric covered side, while the backside features a pattern of your solid stitching. Presenting Just Nan's New Frost Flower Garden Biscornu and Mouse
Nan is beginning a new *Biscornu Garden* Series of designs - this one, Frost Flower Garden, is the first. The Biscornu cushion features a pale blue garden shimmering with frosty beads and a matching mouse nestled in the center. Two different designs of blue and white flowers accented with touches of soft green decorate the 2 sides of the Biscornu. White pearl and silver crystal seed beads plus silver crystal bugle beads are sprinkled throughout. A crystal heart bead anchors each side's center.
Nan has included the pearl headed pins featured on each of the 8 corners as well. The little mouse on top is decorated with matching flowers and beads. She wears a pearl necklace and lavish winter brooch pin made of sequins, a snowflake, moonshine blossom and lavender flower. (Whew - quite some brooch!) Both pieces are stitched on 32ct Ice Blue Belfast linen with just 6 shades of DMC floss. Included with the leaflet are all the stitching and finishing instructions, seed, bugle and heart beads, sequins, mouse tail, button base and pearl pins. Quirky Critters, Quirky Christmas 2024 and Projection of Love from Twin Peak Primitives
Twin Peak Primitives has three new leaflets full of cute designs we really like!
- Quirky Critters is AWESOME! A rooster, racoon, bunny, dog, cat, horse and fox - all are stitched with DMC floss - but are full of bright colors and wild patterns. They are all around 4 to 5 inches in size on 16/32ct Vintage Country Mocha. (We have this fabric in numerous different sizes of Aida and Linen) The book presents each animal on its own spread of two pages with the black and white huge chart on one page, and the key, pic of actual model, and a smaller colored chart on the opposite page. Absolutely the cutest little menagerie!
- Quirky Christmas 2024 - Just like Quirky Critters, these are delightful motifs. There are the Three Kings, an angel, gnomes, a festive tree, reindeer, Santa elf, an owl, and a little straw goat. All on Country Vintage Mocha, all DMC, just happy and colorful! The leaflet contains them all.

Wow... a really cute and colorful collection this season - We love 'em! Complete kits contain the chart, needles, 14ct perforated paper, and all the flosses, beads and buttons needed to create. Always fun, gorgeous when they're framed, perennial favorites around here.
Peony is another single flower, just like their daffodils, hyachynths, hydrangeas, daisies... always a gorgeous, huge flower flourish.

This is an awesome little 540 page book (5-1/2 x 8 x 1, it weighs a pound!) that is an incredible directory of needlework, quilting, weaving, knitting and needlepoint shops all around the country! It is updated annually so it can be CURRENT. If you ever go anywhere in a car, YOU NEED THIS BOOK! Organized by state, each state is mapped with interstate and state highways.
The shops are all numbered on the maps... then the directory offers varied information about each. Addresses, hours, kind of product mix, phone numbers, websites... just great info to help you plan the stops on your next road trip adventure!

They don't seem to have titles either... so I go by their numbers in my descriptions! Choose a natural so the white flakes and details show up.
- 2409 - Squirrel With Mushrooms - This is gorgeous. There is a lot of delicate shading on here - over-the-top charming! 142 x 83 In stitch count, she's used 28 different DMCs in here, but the chart is large and VERY clear. She's done a really good job using different symbols side by side so you can tell the difference so it's just not overwhelming. We have a deer with mushrooms that companions this one as well. And... if you are needing a shortcut to save stitching time... we think you can cut off the big 'shroom' on the top left or maybe the smaller ones behind the squirrel - and not lose any of the design charm! (Just cut down your stitching time!) Offered as the chart $19.00
- 2311 Joyeux Noel - What a cute little Christmas Scene! You have a pile of festively wrapped gifts, the Christmas Pudding under glass, a Nutcracker Prince, and Rocking Horse... all ready for Christmas Morning. A little snow detail in the background here and there, this measures 147 x 87, and is done with 21 shades of DMC. Another one that's perfect to split apart - all 4 elements are cute just by themselves - and that makes a cool pin cushion or ornament set as well. Chart $19.00
- 2312 Polka Dot Noel - This one is super cute - hard to see in the pic, but it's the word NOEL stitched in white, scattered with red dots. Then you get a faint evergreen tree next to a GNOME PINECONE! He's just the cutest! (and you could do JUST HIM - only 20 x 37 - as a single ornament) Finally a little reindeer head pokes through the letters, and then you realize that it's all tucked around that NOEL word. 153 x 58, this will finish approx 5 x 8 on 36ct - I'd use a Natural color of fabric.

Gardens, Gardens and More Gardens by Una Buena Pieza
All the way from Barcelona, Spain... these charming garden patterns feel just like home! We have 29 DIFFERENT gardens - all charted in color as well as black and white graphs - all presented in leaflet format. Everything is coded to DMC floss, and you can put them on any fabric you wish! Basically two different sizes... the main gardens are the larger ones - 110 x 220 in stitch count. They finish 6 x 12 on 18/36ct.
There are smaller versions of these - they are the round designs - they measure 108 stitches, and finish as 6-inch rounds on 18/36. All of them are stuffed full of tiny motifs - everything you can imagine! We have Christmas, Halloween, Space Ships, Evening Gardens, The Ocean, Cats, Mushrooms, to name a few. Hundreds of tiny things in each design... you can pull out favorites and make smaller cushions - or just about anything else! Enjoy the browse, and pick several favorites!

Our favorite scissor manufacturer - DOVO - from Solingen, Germany had massively re-organized 5 years ago and dissolved their scissor division. The tiny bit left of the company has decided, after all this time, to begin a SMALL amount of scissor manufacture. We are thrilled to present:
Anne, Aya, and Anja - Three lovely embroidery scissors - all presented with a brushed stainless finish, and protected with a leather sheath. (Yes, the three names are confusing and quite similiar, so pay attention to your favorite!)

AYA is the 3-1/2 inch with a flattened tip making it their 'Hardanger Scissors.' Same awesome action as Anne, the thinner tip can be a little fragile... be careful what you cut. Hardanger involves cut and drawn threadwork - not as widely done as cross stitch these days - so don't let 'hardanger' define the use of the scissor. Good for Cross Stitch - again, no metallics or heavy threads. A New Designer to Us - Siren Stitchworks
- A Congress of Eagles - This is a pretty collection of eagles - all inspired by 19th century Jaquard woven antique coverlets. Each one is slightly different in size, but all are coded for regular DMC. Fabrics in the pic include Navy, Aztec Red, and Platinum, and counts vary from 32 to 46. I like it because you can SEE how pretty different colors and even counts can mix together with this set! No rules... just choose fabrics in good colors and counts that YOU like!
- Patriotic Biscornu - Eagles and shields... this measures 97 in stitch count. I believe it is identical on both sides... so truthfully, you COULD cut your stitch time in half by doing only the top and choosing a stunning finishing fabric for the bottom. Classy, it's coded for DMC.
- The Titanic Sampler - At first, we thought, 'why would you stitch something from a shipwreck where lots perished?' Buttttt, this might be really neat for a beach house, or someplace near the sea - where things like this are appropriate to remember. The design elements are based on motifs and decorative elements from RMS Titanic and her sister ship, Olympic. Floor tiles, grillwork, statuary, china and linen all served as inspiration for this piece. Stitched all in red, you can choose any color you want for this 229 x 220 piece.

Love these! Finishing approx 5 x 5 on 14ct perf paper, these are always long anticipated, and well loved projects. New this season, we have a Christmas Camper decked out for a Holiday party. The wreath is ready for the beach because it's decorated with seashells. Dashing Dachshund is definitely a favorite - who can resist that darling little dog? Winter Woodpecker joins the other winter bird designs Mill Hill has - (cardinals, blue jays, chickadee, nuthatch all come to mind) - very classy pieces.
Feather Tree is colorful and fun, and Crocuses is stunning! Crocus joins the rest of the MH florals - there are about 9 or 10 of them that are just gorgeous (hydrangea, daisy, and hibiscus come to mind in a pinch.) Our shop models are done on 28ct linen or 14ct aida and stuffed - as an alternative finishing option. The little kits come complete with the chart, paper, beads, flosses, buttons, needles - just everything! |
